Social Media Policy

Introduction 

As an organisation we aim to raise awareness of ADHD and neurodiversity We believe that using social media we can build a strong community that creates a safe space to share ideas, thoughts, feelings, support and raise awareness together. Whilst being aware that all the social platforms that we use have their own policies and community guidelines, which we urge you to follow, our social media policy will outline our own guidelines surrounding social posts and engagements. 

 

Purpose of the policy 

The purpose of this policy is to ensure a safe environment for our community to share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a respectful manner and to protect both our team and our community. 

 

Guidelines 

  • All posts must be respectful and not contain any harmful content. 
  • Our social media is run by a dedicated team, any communication with the team’s personal accounts in relation to ADHD Direct will not be acknowledged. 
  • Any slander or hateful content towards ADHD Direct will be reported and removed from the platform. 
  • Any slander or hateful content towards the community will be reported and removed from the platform. 
  • Any content in violation of the platform’s policies and guidelines will be reported and removed from the platform.
